* State of Maine Judicial Branch FAMILY LAW MAGISTRATE - YORK COUNTY * and Opportunity for Public Input York County/Cumberland County Magistrate Position * State of Maine Judicial Branch FAMILY LAW MAGISTRATE - CENTRAL MAINE and Opportunity for Public Input Penobscot County/Hancock County Magistrate Position
Family Law Magistrates perform work in compliance with the provisions of 4 M.R.S.A. �183 and rules promulgated by the Supreme Judicial Court. In proceedings on the domestic relations calendar involving minor children, FLMs may conduct case management conferences, issue interim and final child support orders and orders in child support enforcement actions, and may decide other matters when the proceeding is uncontested or with the consent of the parties. FLMs are subject to the Maine Code of Judicial Conduct.
