(PressZoom) - Moodys rating agency has today confirmed Queensland’s stable outlook, Treasurer Andrew Fraser said.
“In confirming our credit rating and outlook as being stable Moody’s noted the challenges of providing services and infrastructure for a growing economy and population,” Mr Fraser said.
“I note in particular Moody’s acknowledgement of the Government’s efforts to slow expenditure growth and our commitment to improve the balance sheet through the sale of some commercial businesses.
"The rating released today makes the obvious points. The challenges in providing for growth are clear and the answer is sticking to our economic plan."
