2010 Big East Tournament Brackets Setup for March Madness
The popular 2010 Big East Tournament starts with bracket updates that have been announced today. The Men's basketball tourney will be played at Madison Square Garden throughout the week in New York City. The Big East Tournament 2010 is one of many college basketball tournaments going on this week for March Madness.
(PressZoom) - The popular 2010 Big East Tournament starts with bracket updates that have been announced today. The Men's basketball tourney will be played at Madison Square Garden throughout the week in New York City. The Big East Tournament 2010 is one of many college basketball tournaments going on this week for March Madness.
Teams with lower seeding in the Big East Tournament will play each other beginning at 12 Non on March 9. Four games will be played starting at noon. The #9 seed USF will play #16 DePaul, #12 Connecticut will play #13 St. John's, #10 Seton Hall will play #15 Providence and #11 Cincinnati will end the night playing #14 Rutgers.
The second day will have four games as well with the higher seeded teams playing the winners from the first day. Seeds #5-8 play Tuesday.
The teams with seeds 1-4 will play on March 11. In this year's competition, Syracuse has been seeded #1.
Two semifinal games will be played Friday with the championship to be played at 9 PM EST on Saturday.
