(PressZoom) - Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin has been traded by the team to the Baltimore Ravens for two picks in the 2010 NFL draft according to reports from ESPN. Anquan Boldin went to the Ravens along with a Cardinals fifth round draft pick to complete the trade today.
Boldin said in a reported statement:
"I really look at this as a great opportunity for me. They love football in Baltimore. I know that from when the Cardinals played there a few years ago. That place was loud, very impressive by the fans. The Ravens play a certain way. They play as hard and as physical as any team in the league, and I want to add to that. I think I play the way they play."
Boldin has been selected to the NFL Pro Bowl three times in his career of seven years. He has reached 1000 yards in receiving in five different years.
ESPN has reported the trade and also reported that Boldin will receive a contract of four years and $28 million.
