Big winners of the coveted awards this year were 19 year old Taylor Swift who received entertainer of the year. The last time a woman won this award was when Shania Twain grabbed the award.
Former frontman of Hootie & the Blowfish Darius Rucker came home with an award for his solo album. His new artist of the year was interesting since he has been a band member in a different genre of music for years.
The show was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.
