(PressZoom) - Indianapolis, Ind. – FileEngine, produced by Server Partners, LLC, was recognized as one of the finalists for the Kelley School of Business’ annual Indiana Entrepreneurial Leadership Awards Tuesday, October 28th. The Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation hosted the event.
Every year local companies are honored by the IU business school in the areas of growth, innovation, social enterprise and emerging companies. Overall there were 58 finalists and this year FileEngine was one of 18 finalists in the area of innovation.
The Innovation Award identifies companies that have pioneered new methods, products or practices that adapt to the ever changing business climate. FileEngine’s unique “Managed Server for $1/hr” value proposition sparked the attention of the judges. Kim Brand, CEO, received the award on behalf of Server Partners.
“FileEngine has received numerous awards and accolades for product excellence. But earning this recognition from IU’s Kelley School is especially satisfying,” said Brand.
To be eligible for the awards, companies had to be founded by the 2005 fiscal year, be a public or private corporation with a proprietorship or partnership located in Indiana, and have revenues of more than $1 million.
“The Entrepreneurial Leadership Awards celebrates and showcases the tremendous achievements of Indiana’s entrepreneurial community,” said Donald F. Kuratko, executive director of the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and The Jack M. Gill Chair of Entrepreneurship in the Kelley School of Business. “This is a unique opportunity to celebrate some of the true greatness that exists in the state of Indiana by recognizing the hard work and tenacity that is evident in these award-winning companies.”
