(PressZoom) - This year's Rise festival takes place in Finsbury Park on Sunday 13 July, with another eclectic line up of music from around the world.
Amongst those performing at this year's festival are CSS, whose new album 'Donkey' is due out in July, a unique opportunity to see for free one of the most exciting bands on this summer's festival circuit.
Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are bringing their own inimitable brand of R&B and funk, and there is upbeat psychedelia inspired pop from The Aliens.
There is a performance by reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, back in the limelight with the stage version of The Harder they Come currently in the West End, and there is a live set by TY, featuring NoLay and Bashy.
The Dub Pistols, featuring Terry Hall and Rodney P a are also on the line up, bringing their mix up of hip-hop, dub, dance music, ska and punk, along with vintage teen rockers Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, whose single 'Going Up Country' is out in July. Beardyman is making a special appearance hosting the main stage.
