(PressZoom.com) - Michael Ratner, president of the Center for Constitutional Rights, a lawyer for Guantanamo prisoners, and author of "The Trial of Donald Rumsfeld," will discuss his work as a human rights activist during a discussion at the University of Iowa College of Law on Friday, Nov. 13.
Ratner's lecture begins at 12:40 p.m. in room 225 of the Boyd Law Building. Admission is free and open to the public. His discussion will focus on the role that risk-taking and litigation have in protecting and extending fundamental rights.
